Biz Pulse measures employee engagement using the employee net promoter score metric (or eNPS). Net promoter score has been used in many industries to measure customer loyalty. Recently it has been used with great success as a measure of employee engagement. eNPS asks employees one simple question:
On a scale from 1-10 how likely are you to recommend working here to a friend?
Those who score: 0-6 are detractors
Those who score: 7-8 are neutral and not included in the eNPS calculations
Those who score: 9-10 are promoters
eNPS= %promoters – %detractors
eNPS scores can range from -100 to 100 and offer an overall gauge of how engaged your employees are.
